The Altimeter & Chronometer of Arithmetic Chaos
We have mapped the “atoms” of the Collatz universe (App 4) and watched their linearity break (App 5). Now, we measure the consequences of that chaos.
The Collatz Trajectory Analyzer is a dual-function statistical instrument:
- The Altimeter (Peak Tab): Measures the “Energy” of the orbit. It calculates the Max Peak, Growth Factor, and Glide—the crucial metric from my research that defines how long a number resists decay.
- The Chronometer (Stop Time Tab): Measures the “Lifespan.” It groups integers by their total stopping time, allowing you to find “clusters” of numbers that share the same life expectancy.
